Friendship Week 2023

Friendship week in Rush National school took place from 4th-8th December this year.

The boys and girls had great fun taking part in a variety of Friendship activities-the most enjoyable being the paired work time that took place between the older and younger classes.

The children focused on kindness and the importance of Friendship.

They all took part in a Friendship week competition, with a very high standard of entries.

Infants worked on pictures showing friendship, 1st-3rd class composed Friendship poems, 4th-6th class created friendship posters with a special friendship slogan.

Well done to everyone on their entries and on a very enjoyable week.

Please see a sample of the work created below.

Donated jerseys – 1st December 2023

We have been lucky enough in Rush National School to purchase new jerseys for our GAA teams. Rather than allowing our old jerseys to go to waste, we donated them to a charity. It is lovely to see our older jerseys being enjoyed by other children.
