With the support of the Parents Association Committee, each year sees our school celebrate Halloween and Easter with the running of a bake sale. Many children showcase their baking skills while others delight in admiring and tasting the baked goods! Our Halloween and Easter bake sales are important events in our school calendar as they raise much needed funds to support the various initiatives that we enjoy at school.
Similarly, our Rush Around the World fundraiser encourages the pupils to get their running shoes on and get fit to raise money for our school. We appreciate the support provided by families and neighbours of our pupils to allow us to continue with the sporting and arts programmes run within our school.
The staff and pupils of Rush National School also take pride in fundraising for charities and good causes. One such charity is the Irish Cancer Society. On Daffodil Day every March, we make a great effort to assist the great work of the Irish Cancer Society.
