World Book Day
World Book Day is a celebration of books and reading. It is marked in over 100 countries around the world. We, in Rush National School, take part by dressing up as our favourite characters. See if you can spot some familiar book characters in our ‘Happening Now’ page.

Settling in
Our Junior Infants, picture above, have settled in very well to their new school. Our school is a busy place with our pupils learning through exploration, song, play, sport, reading and writing to mention but a few. Minibeasts
During winter, many insects hibernate. As the summer weather approaches, insects are starting to emerge and it is a great time to learn about them. Pupils in Room 8 have been observing and exploring the habitats and life stages of minibeasts.
